RESOLUTION COMMENDING SANDER SEVERINO  FOR BRINGING HONOR TO THE COUNTRY BY WINNING IN THE CHESS WHEELCHAIR/AMBULANT SECTION IN THE ASEAN PARA GAMES AT THE SURANAREE UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY IN NAKHON RATCHASIMA, THAILAND

WHEREAS, Sander Severino is a 22 year old native of Silay City;

WHEREAS, Sander Severino is a former National Kiddies Champion;

WHEREAS, Sander Severino, won six gold medals in Manila in the wheelchair/ambulant class with perfect scores of three points;

WHEREAS, in the recent Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) Para Games in Thailand, Mr. Sander Severino smashed Vietnamese Tran Tri to notch his fifth straight win in chess for wheelchair/ambulant division at the Suranaree University of Technology;

WHEREFORE, ON MOTION OF ALL THE MEMBERS PRESENT, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Silay resolves, as it is hereby resolved, to pass a resolution commending Sander Severino for bringing honor to the country by winning in the chess wheelchair/ambulant section in the ASEAN Para Games at the Suranaree University of Techonology in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
